Museo Galileo – Galileo Museum in Florence Italy
Posted on January 12, 2012 | 10 CommentsAfter eating Lampredotto at the market, my second favorite thing that I did in Florence was to visit the Museo Galileo [www.museogalileo.it]. Florence is most well known for its museums that house classic sculptures and works of art, but if historical artifacts mean more to you than classical art, then the Galileo Museum in Florence is an absolute can't miss. -
Italy GPS Test and West Coast Donut Run
Posted on April 29, 2010 | No CommentsBut this got me thinking.... how far will the Nuvi take me? Let's say that I want to do a late night donut run, but I'm looking to go a bit out of my way. I click Where to >> Points of Interest >> Food >> Bagel or Donut and then scroll all the way to the bottom. -
Planning a Trip to Northern Italy
Posted on January 11, 2010 | 1 CommentFor our 10th wedding anniversary we're planning a 2 week trip to northern Italy without our kids. We had kids when we were pretty young so we had to watch enviously while our friends backpacked across Europe and went on African safaris. "Don't worr y, we'll travel when the kids are older and we have enough money enjoy ourselves", we dreamed. To all our friends who are just embarking on their diaper days I stick my tongue out in your direction.
