Dine Out Vancouver starts tonight and runs until May 6th. Dine Out is a way of getting people into restaurants in what is traditionally a slow period before the summer tourist rush. Participating restaurants offer a value priced 3 course meal and people get out to try restaurants all over town.
Traditionally it happens a little earlier in the year, but this year we had this little thing called the 2010 Winter Olympics going on so it was pushed back a little bit.
Every year I forget to make reservations, but my sister and my sister-in-law are pretty good at snagging them. Last year we ate at West on Granville Street and it was worth every penny.
Vancouver’s delicious celebration of BC food and wine is back! Enjoy a three-course dinner at 208 of Vancouver’s hottest restaurants for $18, $28 or $38* per person, complemented by fabulous BC VQA wine pairing suggestions.
Reservations highly recommended. Don’t forget you can book online for many participating restaurants making it easier to secure that coveted eatery and avoid busy phone signals!
