I’m starting to think about what I’d like to see and do when I return to Hawaii in a few months and have a serious case of Hawaii Friday Daydreamin’. I’m a little past an appropriate age for heading out to the clubs and bars after sundown (when I’m travelling with the kids) but I did find that just walking around Waikiki on a warm summer evening was memorable. After dinner with our cousins we strolled down Kalakaua Avenue. Along the way we did some window shopping at the high end stores, people watched, and stopped for some dessert at an ice cream shop.
Even just looking out of our room at the Sheraton Waikiki was amazing!
As a bonus we were even able to watch the Friday night fireworks at the Hilton Hawaii Village from our room.
Stay tuned for lots of Hawaii planning posts coming soon. You’d better be ready Hawaii because we’re headed your way!

That sounds like my kind of night in Waikiki! Have fun planning your trip!
They shoot fireworks every Friday night? That’s pretty cool. I’ve never been to Waikiki.
They are pretty cool but I think the fireworks are only on Friday nights.
Those are beautiful pictures from Waikiki. Hope to visit there soonest
I love your night shots – great memories. I want to go back!
