Desperado at Buffalo Bills: Why Don’t You Come to Your Senses?
Posted on February 16, 2012 | 10 CommentsWhen most people think of Las Vegas the first things that come to mind are gambling, general debauchery, eating, and shopping. When I go to Vegas I will typically touch on each of those points, plus I will always try to get in some great roller coaster action. At the top of my list is the Manhattan Express at the New York New York Hotel and Casino. Fake Venice for the most part looks pretty authentic with cast iron (looking) lamps and stone (or is that plaster) signs with either ancient latin or some random latin-like text. -
How to Miss Your Flight in Vegas

Travel Photo Thursday: MGM Grand Adventures Las Vegas
Posted on March 16, 2011 | 11 CommentsI decided to tap into the way-back folders and looked for something green. The picture below was taken back in 1997 when when what happened in Vegas was families. They were trying to tap into the family crowd and even built a full theme park behind the MGM Grand. -
Tropicana Las Vegas – Mini Review for a Mini Casino
Posted on January 27, 2011 | 1 CommentThe bottom line at the Tropicana is that it is a great little hotel if you're not planning to gamble too much, but serious players should look elsewhere. I know that we were there in the first phase of the reno, so maybe they plan to expand the casino. I'd ask them about it before you book though.
