Prepaid Smartphone Data in the US for Travellers
Posted on January 19, 2011 | No CommentsI ran out of data within about 8 hours of light surfing. I suspect that I might have had Google maps running as a background task, which probably didn't help, but either way $30 for 30 MB didn't seem like such a good deal anymore. -

I click Where to >> Points of Interest >> Food >> Bagel or Donut and then scroll all the way to the bottom. -

After all, pulling out the paper map, plotting your own course, and getting a little lost on the way can be a big part of the fun. And of course there are all of the stories of GPS use gone comically and horribly wrong.
