Travel Photo Thursday: Griffith Observatory Los Angeles
Posted on November 16, 2011 | 22 CommentsInitially I had just planned to drive up to check out the view of the city. After driving through Griffith Park all the way up Mount Hollywood (yes, it's actually called that) the views from Griffith Observatory were as nice as promised, with great shots available of the LA skyline and the world famous Hollywood sign. We even saw a few people setting up tripods in prime positions getting ready to capture a sunset that wasn't expected for a few more hours. -
Fancy Street Food in LA at Susan Feniger’s Street
Posted on November 16, 2011 | No CommentsIt only took me a few minutes to clue in to the fact that the restaurant is called Street because it is inspired by street food around the world. Street's only downfall is that the broad spectrum of tastes they offer don't lend themselves to building a single cohesive meal. I wouldn't go there if I was looking for a normal meal, but if I felt adventurous and wanted to snack on a variety of great bites Street would be a must see in LA. It would also be a great place to bring someone if you weren't sure what kind of food they're into. -
